IMHO the thing to get excited about is the potential for a somewhat ubiquitous UI to get my stuff done; not the NPL. Hopefully NPL will continue to improve and be leveraged more in the UI. But right now, the prospect of ditching the seemingly infinite number of GUIs I have to deal with between the web and mobile apps for tasks/bots in the messaging platform of my choice is what's peeked my interest.
