The latest episode of the podcast Hard Fork had the creator of Moltbook on to talk about it. Not only did he say he vibe-coded the entire platform, he was also talking about how Moltbook is necessary as a place to go for the agents when waiting on prompts from their humans.
UAE does this too, but with the UAE I always find it funny how their infrastructure is not build at all to handle rain well. Periods of rain (most of the time) go hand in hand with traffic and road problems, or even flooding. I can see why they need the water, but the effect on their city infrastructure build for heat is also not nothing.
As someone who stared out with Helm and has not used any of its alternatives, I had no idea how hated it is. Maybe it's just because of how I use it, but once I got the hang of the template charts I don't feel like I'm running into any hurdles while using it.
Personally, I also think that in some situations I do prefer to use it as the google replacement in combination with the imitated human conversations.
I mostly use it to 'search' questions while I'm cooking or ask for clothing advice, and here I think the fact that it can respond in natural language and imitate a human to hold a conversation is benefit to me.
