Great news.

Someone just did a great work on security audit and made FreeBSD Jails a lot more secure.

This is what security audits are for.

Thanks! And thank you for your valuable news newsletter.

That is because Apple took entire FreeBSD 'userspace' as part of Mac OS X.

Everything that I need works perfectly on X11.

Why would I move to Wayland where at least some things DO NOT WORK?

How the 'GPL' part worked out to force VMware to send back the things they modified?

FreeBSD.

There are literally TONS of various NAS cases for 3.5 drives - with amd64 or arm64 CPUs - some Mini-ITX or STX based ... what is lacking on the market are NAS cases for multiple 2.5 drives ONLY.

There are some.

For example BSD ls(1) is not able to list dirs first.

Other thing is that BSD utils are more strict ... like:

    # command -o -p -t -i -O -n -s ARGUMENTS
If you do it other wise - like that:

    # command -o -p -t ARGUMENTS -i -O -n -s
... they will just throw error - but its all documented in the man pages.

I already do ... I used FreeBSD on desktops/laptops since 20 years.

What do you mean back?

I am running my blog since 2018 and it has never been better :)
