The aforementioned devices keep your eyes relaxed (accommodation-wise) over long periods of time.

AR glasses like those from Xreal are like that. You can use them as a display for a smartphone, tablet, computer, etc. I have Lenovo Legion Glasses 2.

I never wore filtering glasses. Using screens at a distance made a big difference for me.

It could be both. And focus distance may matter. Like, books may also cause myopia. Reading books outdoors may be a bit better than reading books indoors. Using screens at a distance could also be benign.
